OUR WORKSHOP

Our workshop is situated in the Peartree Industrial Estate in Upper Langford, about 12 miles south west of Bristol. We moved to these premises in 2015 and have continued to invest in new equipment and facilities to drive the business forward. We will be opening a showroom here very soon where customers will be able to see some examples of the kind of things we make and get some inspiration for their own design projects. Until this is open, customers are more than welcome to come to the workshop to see different types of stone slabs, samples and finishing options.

The Equipment

We use specialist state-of-the art cutting and polishing equipment and have specifically designed our workshop to be as environmentally friendly as possible (See our eco policy).

Our saw is a GMM Extra 37 5 axis CNC saw. This computer-controlled saw enables us to cut and shape each slab with precise accuracy.

We also use a Breton CNC (NC260K18) which enables us to cut and polish any shape and create draining grooves (including curves), recess drainers, bespoke shapes and details, OG Profiling and hob cut-outs.

Our Marmo Meccanica LCH Magnum Edge Polisher enables us to polish and chamfer slabs up to 60mm thick. Whilst this machine does a lot of the hard work for us, ultimately everything is still hand finished. We place a lot of emphasis on health and safety in the workshop for the wellbeing of our staff. We have a dust extraction system and have recently installed a new crane to minimise any potential strain caused by lifting slabs into position.
